Two-step deployment
Select a GitHub repository and deploy. NRS Home Server detects ready static sites, Vite/Astro projects and Node applications before publishing them.
NRS / Local software
A lightweight Windows home server manager for self-hosting websites and Node apps, running a private Drive and Minecraft services, and deploying from GitHub.
The local machine name and incidental system overlays have been removed. No credentials, tokens or private logs are shown.

01 / Overview
NRS Home Server manages GitHub deployments, static and Node hosting, NRS Drive, Minecraft Bedrock, verified backups and system status. Caddy publishes only explicitly enabled domains.
Select a GitHub repository and deploy. NRS Home Server detects ready static sites, Vite/Astro projects and Node applications before publishing them.
GitHub projects retain provenance and revision history. Updates are prepared away from the active service and can roll back to earlier revisions.
Each website or Node app can open in its own operational context. A manual GitHub freshness check compares the deployed revision with remote, surfaces an available update and preserves the previous compatible revision for recovery.
StaticHost and AppHost keep sites and Node apps running without leaving the dashboard open. Lightweight startup begins after Windows sign-in.
Variables declared in .env templates can be stored with Windows CurrentUser DPAPI. Values are not returned to the UI and a real .env is never read.
A separate file workspace with previews, grid/list modes, multi-selection, Recent files, global search, Trash and shared snapshots. Private remote access can be enabled explicitly through a separate Tailscale Serve gateway.
Manages registered Bedrock instances with status, start/stop, logs, controlled import and verified data backups without exposing the local administration panel publicly.
The operations center reviews services and resources, can run manual HTTP checks, show protection status and export sanitized diagnostics. Verified control-plane backups plus NRS Drive and Minecraft data backups provide scope-aware validated restore paths.
A Caddy gateway can explicitly publish selected domains and start through Light Startup; the administration panel and Drive are not automatically exposed as public surfaces.
02 / Deployment
The Apps and websites view shows services, filters and GitHub deployment. Advanced controls stay separate from the normal flow.

03 / Administration
Settings separates the owner session, the private Drive gateway and product configuration. Control-plane backups protect NRS Home Server state without mixing in Drive files, worlds or deployed source code.

04 / Usage model
Choose a repository or prepare a local service.
Detect the runtime, prepare dependencies and publish the appropriate artifact.
Run services through independent hosting and review them from the operations center.
Update with history, code rollback and transactional configuration restore.
05 / Technical guide
A practical architecture for separating build, local serving, HTTPS, reverse proxy, self-hosted runners and verifiable deployment.
06 / Status
Observed version {{homeServer}} includes focused service management, manual GitHub freshness checks, revision recovery, publication clarity and local HTTP diagnostics for Node apps. It retains NRS Drive, Minecraft Bedrock, backup/restore, private Tailscale access and selective Caddy publishing. It still has no public release or background HTTP monitoring.
No public installer or download announced.
